How the referral works

Marksy provides the technology, public-data research, intake workflows and administrative support. When you order a service that involves the practice of law, your matter is referred to MC Law, PLLC. You engage the firm directly under its own engagement terms, and the firm exercises independent professional judgment on your behalf.

What this means for you

A licensed attorney — not software — is responsible for the legal work and appears as the attorney of record on your filing. Marksy is compensated for marketing, technology and administrative services; the portion of any fee for legal services compensates the firm. Marksy does not supervise the firm's attorneys, does not direct their professional judgment, and forms no attorney–client relationship with you.
